Asda delivery slots were released today to delivery pass holders. Tried booking but can't load any slots past the 18th of December usually we can view and book up until the 23rd. Anyone else having the same problem? For delivery on 22 December, slots can be booked from 1 December; For delivery on 23 December, slots can be booked from 2 December; The supermarket does not offer any deliveries on December 24, 25 or 26. Asda is offering Christmas Delivery slots between December 21 and 23, and you can book them online.
All you have to do is type in your postcode to find out if Asda delivers to you and you’ll be able to find out which products are available in your local area.
You can then register for an account online and find a slot that suits you on Christmas week.
You’ll need to act fast though, because Christmas slots are completely sold out already in lots of areas.

No delivery slots are available for Christmas Eve, limiting the number of slots on offer.
If the date and time you’d like your shop delivered on is sold out, you may be able to collect your order from a local Asda instead.
This means you can order and pay online, but you’ll need to go to the store to pick up the order.
You’ll have to pay £3 for delivery orders less than £40, and £3 for click and collect orders under £25.
Delivery costs between £3 and £5.50 depending on the day and time of the slot.
Delivery Pass Customers get their deliveries for free.
You can’t buy a delivery pass right now due to the high demand during the pandemic, but it normally costs £5 a month or £55 per year.

When do you have to book your Christmas delivery by?
The earlier you put your order in the better, since most of the Christmas slots have sold out already.
The delivery slots came out earlier than usual this year, with bookings open since November 6.
The site states that you need to book a Christmas slot between December 21 and 23 to shop the Christmas Food to Order range.
You’ll need to book your slot ASAP to ensure you get one.
Express.co.ukhas contacted Asda to find out if more slots will be made available.
The Food to Order category includes starters, sides, mains, desserts and party food.
This means you can get your Christmas meat or vegetarian and vegan substitutes prepared and delivered by Asda.
The supermarket also has a nine-month matured luxury Christmas pudding on offer, as well as a sherry trifle.
The party food includes snack platters, ham joints, and cheese.
Potatoes and vegetables for the Christmas dinner aren’t included in this section, you can get them from the regular products section.

Here are the latest updates for all the major chains…
Tesco
Tesco’s Christmas delivery slots opened on 13 November for people on its delivery saver scheme, and are now available to everyone.
Deliveries cost between £4.50 and £5.50, or you can choose to click and collect for £1.50.
There is a £4 surcharge for deliveries under £40 and click and collect orders worth less than £25.
Asda

Some dates and times are fully booked, depending on your location, but if this is the case you should still be able to select the click and collect option.

Morrisons
Morrisons’ Christmas delivery slots opened on 25 November, and you can book for any date from 20-24 December, subject to availability.
Delivery costs between £2 and £7, depending on when you want your food to arrive.
Amazon Prime customers can get free delivery of they order their Morrisons shop through Amazon’s site.
Sainsbury’s

- For delivery on 20 December, slots can be booked from 29 November
- For delivery on 21 December, slots can be booked from 30 November
- For delivery on 22 December, slots can be booked from 1 December

Sainsbury’s delivery pass holders will be given early access, which they should receive via email.
The supermarket charges £7 for delivery on orders under £40 and between 50p and £7 for orders over £40, depending on the slot.
There is a minimum order of £25. Click and collect is also available.
Waitrose
Waitrose’s Christmas delivery slots are now live on its website.
Delivery is free, but there is a minimum spend of £40. The same applies for click and collect orders.
