I have an ASRock Extreme 4 motherboard and an OCZ Vertex 4 128GB SSD. These are part of a new computer build that I recently completed from Black Friday deals. Also running Windows 8 Pro and 8GB 2133Mhz Ram. Ever since day 1 of the install, I noticed my PC never boots up properly from a cold boot. More memory slots (also known as DIMM slots) allow you to add more RAM to your computer. It is also useful when upgrading, as you can add RAM to an empty slot instead of replacing an existing memory module. So I'm planning on getting the ASRock Z77 Extreme4. My questions are: 1. This is pretty self-explanatory but I still want confirmation. This means it can ONLY fit 4 RAMs that are 240 pin? Do I have to fill all 4 slots or is it not necessary? It says Maximum Memory Supported: 32GB. So this means the maximum amount of RAM it can support is 32gb. Would it harm the.
